About

A solo studio that still answers after launch.

DesignerScript is Ray — a web developer working across WordPress, custom frontends, automation, and internal tools. I take a limited number of projects so the work stays close and support does not disappear after the invoice.

What that means

Website foundation

Pages that load quickly and stay easy to update — not a theme you are afraid to touch.

Workflows

Forms and handoffs that cut the retyping. Visibility over cleverness.

Capacity

One builder, booked on purpose. If I cannot take the work, I will say so early.

Who is building it

Ray, based in Gaithersburg, Maryland

I work remotely with businesses that already have a site, a WordPress install, or a messy process sitting next to one. The goal is a digital setup that looks like the business, loads fast enough, and does not need a developer for every copy change.

Solo does not mean unavailable. Projects include a handoff, and ongoing support is a real option — monthly or as scoped updates — so you are not hunting for a new vendor the week after launch.

What I take on

Websites, WordPress frontends, and small systems

I would rather connect the pieces you already have than sell a stack you do not need.

Diagram-like overview of websites, software, and automation sitting together

Business websites

Marketing and service sites with a page list, forms, and room to publish without a redesign every quarter.

WordPress and headless frontends

Keep the CMS. Put a faster public site in front of it when the theme is the bottleneck.

Workflow automation

Intake, notifications, and follow-up steps that stop living in someone’s inbox.

Internal tools

Small software when the off-the-shelf option creates more friction than it removes.

If the current site is getting in the way, say so.

We can start with a short conversation about constraints — budget, timeline, and who will edit the thing later.
